Footpath Report – October 2020

Footpath HO8 – from Attwood Lane through to the Roman Road. Completed clearing undergrowth and overgrowth using the parish strimmer this time.

HO8 path cleared through to Roman Road – first 2020 outing for the strimmer!

Wednesday 7th October 1.8 miles walked

Footpath HO8A – from Attwood Lane through to The Furlongs and up to The Secret Garden pub. Some light nettle trimming work only.

  1. Thank you for all your efforts.
    I often clear rubbish in Attwood Lane and poo bags along footpath!
    I notice that recently a horse is being ridden along the footpaths off Attwood Lane by Holmer Nursing Home and through housing estate into the communal green areas causing them to become even more muddy. Can anything be done to stop this as they are not bridle paths?

    • Thank you for your comments. The Parish Council will review the possibility of installing suitable ‘no horses/cycle’ signs at a future meeting.
